The C.P.B.N.T.P. was founded in 1923. It acts as promoter for didactic works, national and international events, and offers assistance in the realisation of often important transactions as well.
It also protects the philatelic trade and tries to stimulate the collectors in an honourable fashion.
The C.P.B.N.T.P. publishes the Official Belgian Stamp Catalogue (C.O.B.)
